Farm Tips Here
at Rose Creek Farms we love children to come out to pick vegetables as
well as visit the farm animals. We have chickens, turkeys, goats and
pigs for the children to see, feed and enjoy. You are welcome to bring
lunch and don't forget your camera. Here
are a few helpful tips to follow while at the farm:
-
Please don't spray
sunscreen or bug spray while your on the premises, please apply
these before you arrive. Please don't spray anything
while your on the premises.
-
-
Please wear tennis
shoes, no sandals. There are bugs and ants, and ant beds here so
please watch out for those.
-
-
Please watch your
children and do not leave them unattended while they are here. There
are many things they can get hurt on.
-
-
While in the gardens,
please attend to your child while he or she is picking. Sometimes
they pull too hard and pull the plants out of the ground. Sometimes
their little feet accidentally walk on the vegetable plants, beds
and irrigation lines.
-
-
Please watch your
child when they are around the animals. We don't advise petting the
animals, but most can be fed with no problems. Our animals only eat
the feed we provide.
