held on Oct. 15th,
2011. What a great time! Thank you to those who came out and
joined in the fun. Thank you to all our local farmers who came
out and shared their goodies with us. We enjoyed the afternoon
with a pumpkin patch, u-pick black-eyed peas, hayrides, at

Our Mission at Rose Creek
Farms
Owned and operated by Ronny and Pam Johnson, Rose
Creek Farms is a family farm following sustainable practices.
Since acquiring it in 2005 we've worked hard to convert it to a
Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) farm, which is based on the
highest principles and ideals of organic farming. Our mission is
to:
-
Grow clean, wholesome, quality foods without
synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides;
-
Care for livestock with humane, ethical and
integrated practices;
-
Enhance soil fertility and maintain water
quality;
-
Help family farmers find profit in stewardship
and ecological practices;
-
Train volunteers and other small farm families
in organic agriculture, marketing and added value products;
-
Maintain high, ethical standards and business
practices and promote Community Supported Agriculture.
We are working to achieve these goals as a family business. The
farm serves communities in north central Texas. We are members of
the Certified Naturally Grown Program, Texas Organic Farmers and
Gardeners Association and The Weston A. Price Foundation®. Proud
supporters of the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation and The
Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund.
